Rick has been providing advice in environment and operational redesign across a wide range of sectors around the world for over 30 years. He is CEO of LINCIt – a not-for-profit assisting clean technology firms scale-up through a unique hosting model to reduce GHG emissions, waste and other environmental impacts. Rick has been designing recycling and waste management programs for over 20 years, incluing for the Canadian fast food industry. He also spent 2 years as Director, overseeing the waste diversion programs in Ontario (blue box, hazardous waste, electronics, and used tires), for Waste Diversion Ontario. Rick in one of his early chapters worked at restaurants as cook, assistant cook, and server.

He is a Certified Management Consultant with a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. He also Chairs the Energy and Climate Change Special Interest Group for the Ontario CMCs, and has sat on numerous Boards in the Environment and Innovation sectors.
